Hello, as a public school art teacher, I am thrilled to have found this site. My students are very interested in the versatility portrayed in Chase's works. They see similiarities between his work and other artists that we have previously studied, like Rembrandt, Homer,Eakins, Cassatt and Van de Velde, to name a few.
